James F. Adams
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Adams was a Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division and a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Mr. Adams now concentrates his practice in administrative, antitrust, bankruptcy, health care and professional liability law and complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation, including extensive representation of Bankruptcy Trustees in numerous cases involving fraudulent transfers, preferences and director & officer liability.

Represented trustees for bankruptcy estates involved in the following industries: aerospace, commercial office buildings, computer equipment and software, construction, entertainment, food brokerage, hospitals, law firms, marine products, medical office buildings, medical practices, oil and gas interests, professional sports, shopping centers, and telecommunications.
Retained to prosecute and defend D&O claims in the computer software, construction, distribution, education, entertainment, financial, health care, real estate, retail, telecommunications and transportation industries.
Represented bankruptcy appellant before Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court.
Represented aerospace and health care clients in regulatory and litigation matters.
